EPIC Meeting on Industrial Process Monitoring at Laser World of Photonics
Munich, Germany

Process optimization, waste reduction and throughput increase are some of the key strategies for energy saving and the digitalized industry of the future.
Different in-line and online process-monitoring systems, such as fast hyperspectral imaging cameras, miniaturized spectrometers and other photonics-based devices, combined with efficinet and smart data handling, have been recognized as an absolute “must have” in a myriad of industrial environments.
Let’s discuss in this meeting what the industry of today needs to become the industry of tomorrow.

Speakers

Florian Hugger studied mechanical engineering in Munich. Afterwards he worked as a research assistant at the Bayerisches Laserzentrum in Erlangen. Since 2017 Florian is heading the R&D department at BBW Lasertechnik in Prutting, where he is responsible for process development as well as technology scouting and integration.

Head of Department at BBW Lasertechnik

Mr. Reiser studied engineering at the University of Stuttgart. He did his PhD at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology where he investigated the fracture behaviour of welded joints. He worked for companies such as Plansee, Siemens or Bosch. Since 2019 he joined Precitec where he focuses on e-mobility and how intelligent sensor technology can forward welding quality and Industry4.0.

Sales & Innovation E-Mobility at Precitec

Richard Steinbrecht studied Mechanical Engineering at TU Munich => Dipl.-Ing.
1992 - 2010, Baasel and Rofin-Baasel Lasertechnik , various management positions in production and sales
2010-2017 , Trotec Laser Automation, managing director
since 2017, Lessmüller Lasertechnik, managing director.
