EPIC Online Technology Meeting on Next Steps Fast Growing Freeform Optics Applications

Freeform optics manufacturing is now a leading industry in the fields of Light shaping, luxury designs, automotive lighting, wearables devices, communication, space optics and even medical technologies. In this meeting, we will have an overview of the ever-growing applications of freeform optics and challenges the supply chain from designers to volume production industrials.

Spirit of the meetings

During these online technology meetings, we are looking for the challenges the industry is facing and bringing together the entire supply chain to address these challenges. Bringing together end-users with component suppliers and system integrators that will answer the EPIC question “What can you do for them and what can they do for you” creates the perfect foundation to establish new business relationships and find ways for new collaborations and partnerships.

Roland cumulated 40 years of optical engineering, fabrication and testing development, management & sales at Safran Reosc as well as lens design teaching at the Paris Institute of optics through 20 years. Freeforms are his last passion.
